I like to think that my grief journey started as an experiment. I had no idea how to begin or where to turn. I was already seeing a therapist, but quickly became aware that my therapist did not specialize in matters of grief. I needed more.
After months of searching, I found Caro who is extremely understanding of everyone’s “individual” journey. I instantly connected with her and felt like she understood exactly how I was feeling.
With Caro’s unwavering support I have been able to see that it is possible to move forward after the loss of my son and that my future has the potential to be fulfilling and meaningful.
With skill, understanding and deep kindness, Caro has encouraged me to recognise the negative messages that may otherwise be holding me back from achieving my goal and I now no longer feel guilty for giving myself permission to fully live again after such tragedy.
After Caro lost her Mum to suicide in 2013, she quickly realized how little support existed for those left behind.
Struggling with complex grief and deep feelings of guilt, she tried everything she could to heal. But it wasn’t until she discovered how to challenge untrue thoughts and rewire the brain that things finally began to shift.
Now a Certified NeuroCoach and suicide bereavement coach, Caro blends science-backed tools with lived experience to help others find peace, hope, and even joy again — without leaving their loved one behind.
